The NotebookLM public address now redirects to Google's notebook site. The current Gemini Notebook help discusses source imports and citations. Google's cross-app guidance also notes that grounding differs between applications, so shared notebooks do not imply identical answer behavior everywhere.
Import a few documents on one question and request a comparison with references. Open each important citation and check whether it supports the specific claim. Include a deliberately unanswered question to see whether missing information stays missing.
Record which versions were imported and whether they update automatically. Remove superseded material or label it clearly. Check notebook sharing before adding private files. A generated overview can orient a reader, but it should not replace the underlying text when precise wording, exceptions, or evidence matter.
