Recraft

Start with an asset specification

Recraft presents an AI design workspace for creative and commercial visual work. Use its official product site to confirm current generation, editing, and output options. The useful comparison is whether you can deliver the assets your project needs, not whether one generated image looks impressive in isolation.

Try a connected set

Write a brief for three related assets, such as an onboarding illustration, a matching empty state, and a small promotional image. Specify subject, composition, colors, background requirements, and intended size. Generate the set and compare the relationships between the images: are line weights, perspective, and visual detail coherent?

Place the outputs in their actual layouts. Inspect small versions for muddy edges and accidental detail. Check any generated lettering against the original copy. For a logo or interface icon, verify the requested file type and editability in your own design application; a vector-looking preview does not establish that the downloaded asset is an editable vector.

Separate creation from clearance

Before publishing, check the applicable plan's commercial-use conditions, visibility settings, and ownership terms. Review outputs for unwanted logos or resemblance to protected characters. Do not upload confidential reference material without permission, or assume that generation replaces your normal rights review.

Keep the brief, selected output, and final edits together so another designer can reproduce the style. Compare with commissioned illustration or an existing licensed asset library when exact consistency is more important than exploring variations. This guide is a production checklist, not a hands-on quality score or a guarantee that generated artwork can be registered as a trademark.
