Prototype and production are different milestones

Replit presents AI-assisted creation alongside authentication, databases, hosting, and integrations. Their presence does not prove that a generated app's access rules or data model are correct.

Test a real user journey

For a booking app, create a reservation, reload, edit, and cancel it. Repeat as a second user who should not see private information from the first account. Test missing fields, duplicate submissions, and failed requests. Inspect stored records rather than only success messages.

Separate the cost components

Check generation usage, hosting resources, and third-party services independently. Keep secrets out of client code and review changes before letting an agent modify production data. Verify backups and code export before a wider release. A small pilot with test records is more informative than a polished screen that has never handled failures.
