Stability AI presents model and creative-technology work, including audio announcements. Its products should not be assumed to share one license, hardware requirement, or hosted interface.

Identify the exact artifact

Record the model name, version, official source, and whether you use hosted inference or local software. Test representative inputs at the intended export format. For local operation, measure memory and runtime on the actual machine rather than extrapolating from a demonstration.

Read the model's own terms

The ability to download weights does not establish permission for every use. Check applicable licensing and software dependencies. Prefer official releases with documentation and provenance over anonymous mirrors. Keep version details with the project so an update does not silently change behavior or conditions. A hosted tool may suit a small occasional workload better than maintaining a local stack.
