Grammarly

A writing assistant for reviewing grammar and tone. Check suggestions against audience, meaning, and your organization's requirements instead of accepting every change.

Start with the kind of editing you need

Grammarly describes grammar assistance, tone feedback, rewriting, and brand-related features, with capabilities varying by plan. A spelling pass and a full rewrite are different interventions. Check the current product and plan overview before choosing which one to evaluate.

Use a passage with deliberate choices

Try a short technical explanation containing an acronym, a quotation, and a cautious statement such as a result that may occur under certain conditions. Review whether a clarity suggestion preserves that qualification. Reject changes that replace a precise term with a smoother but less accurate one.

For customer communication, compare the suggested tone with the actual relationship and situation. Making a complaint response sound cheerful is not necessarily an improvement. Keep the author responsible for the final wording.

Check where the assistant can read

Review application access and the relevant organization's settings before using confidential text. Test one complete workflow, including comments or formatting that must survive the edit, and ensure the result remains usable in the destination document. Grammarly is not a fact-checking substitute: names, statistics, and references still need their own verification. This guide does not claim a measured improvement in writing quality or a particular error-detection rate.
