Distinguish the app from experiments

Pika's homepage separates its video app, effects, API, and experimental agent tools. An experiment shown on the site is not necessarily included in the main application's subscription.

Test one movement

Use an image you own and request a slow camera move toward a stationary object. Inspect the entire result for warping, unstable lettering, and changes to the subject. Several simultaneous actions make it harder to identify the source of an error.

Place the clip in the intended edit. Starting and ending motion, aspect ratio, and the next cut matter as much as the best frame.

Budget for rejected takes

Check current allowances, export settings, and terms for the chosen tool. Obtain permission before animating a person's likeness. Do not present generated footage as a recording of an event that actually occurred.
