Framer's current product site presents design and CMS agents alongside website-building and publishing capabilities. A generated layout is the beginning of the work, not proof that the finished site meets your requirements. Official Framer overview.
For a portfolio, use actual project titles, a long description, and an image with a caption. Create a second project through the CMS and check whether the same layout handles different text lengths. Test navigation, forms, and links on both phone and desktop widths.
Inspect the published page with a keyboard, verify that form submissions reach the right destination, and check page titles and descriptions. A polished editor preview does not establish accessibility, search visibility, or reliable form delivery.
Ask a colleague to update a project without changing the surrounding design. Confirm account ownership, custom-domain access, billing, and the options for moving content elsewhere before launch. Review the current plan's CMS, localization, and traffic limits against your real publishing schedule. Compare a code-based site when custom backend behavior or portability is essential. This directory has not performed a performance or accessibility audit of Framer-generated sites.
